Background
The ARISE Academy is led by Pat Joseph and Juliet Neill-Hall, who have over 50 years' combined experience of working with parents and families - and with the practitioners that support them.
The ARISE Academy builds on the work of ARISE Development, a successful and thriving London-based organisation led by Pat Joseph offering consultancy, expertise and training on a wide range of projects across the Children and Families Workforce. ARISE Academy also utilises the skills and experience of Juliet Neill-Hall of Family Workforce Development which specialises in work with parents and evidence-based course material design. This company is also responsible for developing the Families going Forward, Supporting Families in the Community, Supporting Families through change and transition and Supporting Families with Complex and Multiple Needs for CWDC (Children's Workforce Development Council) from 2009 to 2011. ARISE Development led the training delivery of Families Going Forward in Greater London and other programmes as part of a nationwide project.
The ARISE Academy also has links with training associates across the nine regions of England to allow local providers to understand and serve local needs.
The ARISE Academy is a values-based organisation whose title shares the acronym for five core values and principles: Achievement, Respect, and Integrity, Self and Equality. It aims to see these principles reflected in both the organisational approach and the experience of associates, commissioning organisations and individual learners.
